Man Slits Father’s Throat, Cuts Testicles in Anambra

Operatives of Udo-ga-achi in Anambra State have arrested one Chidozie Onyenka for slitting the throat of his father and cutting off his testicles.

The sad incident occurred at Amaigbo, Nanka, on Thursday after a dispute ensued between father and son. The father sold Chidozie’s machine for his bail, but when Chidozie asked for the remaining balance, the father refused and grabbed a knife, threatening to kill his son. Chidozie overpowered him.

Prior to the incident, Chidozie disclosed that his mother took him to a oke-ite for a ritual, and he was told to provide human body parts. Instead, he paid N200,000 for the body but had not seen the prophet since the last visit, although the ritual performance was ongoing on his behalf.

Confessing to the crime, Chidozie said that the act of cutting his father’s testicles was made possible with a friend, Chidiebere Ohakari, who is on the run.

After cutting the father’s testicles, he threw them at Ududo-Nanka, a cultural site, stayed there for a while, and then the following morning, he told his sister what had transpired.
