APC Moves To Reconcile Angry Members In Delta

The All Progressives Congress State Working Committee in Delta State has officially confirmed former governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the candidate for the Delta North Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 election.

Speaking in Asaba after the meeting, the state publicity secretary, Valentine Onojeuhuo, said the primaries were duly conducted by the party’s National Working Committee, and Okowa emerged victorious as the process and outcome were satisfactory.

However, Onojeuhuo disclosed that efforts are being made to embark on a reconciliation with aggrieved members and stakeholders in order to foster unity and greater victory chances for the 2027 general elections.
