Military Rescue of Late General’s Wife

The wife of slain Major General Rabe Abubakar (rtd), Mrs. Amina, has been rescued by the Nigerian Army after weeks in captivity that led to the death of the general.

It was recalled that the general and his wife were kidnapped by bandits last month in Katsina and held for weeks, but during the weekend, the corpse of the general was brought from captivity and buried according to Muslim law.

However, Mrs. Amina was shot during the rescue operation and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, according to the Nigerian military.
