Respect Our Laws – Ramaphosa to Black Immigrants in South Africa
Post created on 11:13 am

The President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, has told Nigerians and other black nationals to respect their laws, customs, and traditions just as a South African would behave in their nations.
He revealed that South Africa is committed to global cooperation and human rights, but it would not hesitate to enforce immigration laws, urging citizens to trust the law regarding illegal immigrants.
Ramaphosa’s words were aired on SABC News on Freedom Day, against the backdrop of renewed anti-foreigner tensions in parts of the country.
However, the Nigerian Acting Ambassador to South Africa, Alexander Ajayi, disclosed on TV that Nigerian nationals are not under coordinated attack and that the situation is currently under control.
