Iran Fires Fresh Missiles at UAE; Nigerian Injured

One Nigerian has been identified among dozens of people injured in the United Arab Emirates after missiles were intercepted by the Gulf nation as tensions continue to rise between Iran and the US.

A statement on Tuesday and Wednesday from the UAE Ministry of Defence disclosed that its air defense units detected a total of 262 ballistic missiles fired from Iran since the beginning of the war on February 28, with 241 intercepted and 19 landing in the sea.

However, two of the missiles fell in the city, leading to the death of six people and 122 casualties, including a Nigerian national.
