Boat Mishap Kills Corp Members in Excravos Waters

‎A naval boat carrying 15 people who were heading to Arunton community, a riverine community in Warri, has been reported to have capsized, with some individuals missing.

‎Three naval officers, two NYSC corps members, and one civilian passenger are still being searched for in the Excravos waterways, Warri South LGA, near Chevron Nigeria Limited, where the incident occurred.

‎The Nigerian Navy had earlier conducted a medical outreach at Okerenkoko riverine community on Thursday before the NNS Delta Epenal gunboat DE 24 capsized with 15 people on board.

‎Information from the Navy indicates that the search is still ongoing for the other missing passengers, including one corps member and two naval personnel.
