Commotion In Rivers State As Police Fires Gunshots

Another Crisis erupted in Ahoada East secretariat, the LGA of the Chief of Staff of Rivers state, Edison Ehie, as some individuals tried resisting the return of the newly elected chairman.

Recalled that the three month ban on LGA secretariats in Rivers state was lifted today, Monday following an order.from the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

However, police officers took over the scene, firing gunshots to disperse the crowd as people ran for safety.
