2027 General Election Timetable Fake — INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has countered a claim by some online platforms that the 2027 General Elections timetable is out.
A statement by the electoral body earlier today states that citizens should not be pressured by the article titled ‘Breaking: INEC Releases Timetable for 2027 General Elections,’ as it is all false and fabricated unverified news.
INEC categorically urged all not to be tense, as the 2027 elections will be free and fair, adding that any information about the body can be obtained from their verified social media handles or in a press statement.
