Uvwie LGA inaugurates taskforce on environment and traffic control

Authorities of Uvwie LGA have inaugurated a special taskforce on environment and traffic control which will commence operation with immediate effect. This is following continued indiscriminate parking and reckless driving by motorist in the area.

Speaking during the inauguration on Tuesday in Effurun Chairman of the LGA Ramson Onoyake said the committee which will be working with the DPO of Ebrumede police station will enforce traffic rules as well as environmental sanitation.

He added that machinery has been set up to check possible excess on the part of the taskforce.
