Uduaghan returns to PDP

The immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has officially defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Uduaghan rejoined the PDP at his Unit 1, Ward 6, Abigborodo in Warri North local government area of the state on Monday.

The former governor was accompanied to the defection ground by the member representing Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi and other party stalwarts.

Reacting, the Executive assistant to governor Ifeanyi Okowa on communications Dr Fred Latimore in a phone chat described the development as a huge one for the PDP stressing that it will further strengthen the stronghold of the party in Delta south.

He meanwhile said defecting from one political party to the other in Nigeria is not without its attendant challenges.
