GRAMMY-nominated and Billboard Music Award winner, Travis Greene teams up with Kirk Franklin & John P. Kee for this inspiring song titled “Hold On Me,” available now for streaming and downloading via all major digital outlets world-wide.
The song “Hold On Me” is written and co-produced by Greene, with Franklin writing his own verse on the song. Along with the new song is its official music video, which sees Greene, Franklin and Kee performing the song at an old school jazz club.
Speaking about his latest song, Greene pens down, “Creating ‘Hold On Me’ may have been the most exciting moment I’ve had in music. Kirk Franklin and John P. Kee are my greatest inspirations. My love for gospel music is because of the timeless records that they’ve created. To have them both on a song together with me is truly a dream come true. I believe that the joy that this song brings me, will be shared by listeners around the world. No matter what happens in life, we share a promise, God will never let us go, He has a hold on us!”
Greene’s latest song “Hold On Me” is a small taste of what’s to come from Travis Greene as the Gospel singer is preparing to drop his new album Oil + Water, which follows 2019’s Broken Record, and also includes his previously released and well accepted song song “Easter” featuring Todd Dulaney.
Travis and his wife, Dr. Jackie Greene, are co-founders and co-pastors of Forward City, the church they planted in Columbia, SC. Their vision is to see the unchurched and over-churched move forward with God.
God and His grace has always been a part of Travis’ life, from birth. Besides his incredible testimonies of his survival at birth and the accident he suffered in childhood when he was 4 years old, he grew up with his mother working in ministry, as a minister and choir director. He has worked as a youth pastor and worship director. He spent formative years growing up in Warner Robins, GA and graduated from Georgia Southern University.
