Supreme Court Affirms Election of Bala Mohammed As Governor of Bauchi State

The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Bala Mohammed as the Governor of Bauchi state.

The judgment was read by Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, dismissing the appeal filed by Sadique Abubakar for lack of merit.

A few hours ago, the apex court affirmed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as the duly elected governor of the state.

Justice Garba Lawal dismissed the appeal brought before the court by Gbadebo Rhodes-vivour against Sanwo-Olu authenticating his election as governor.

Recall that opposition governors have filed a petition at the Supreme Court against 8 governors.
