A group of protesters carrying banners bearing maps of the Ijaw and Itsekiri communities has stormed the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.

The leaders, who are from the Warri federal constituency, displayed placards showing that the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in Warri Federal Constituency is fraudulent, with no units and no wards.

The protesters are demanding that INEC release the report of the Supreme Court-ordered delineation of electoral registration areas, wards, and polling units in the Warri federal constituency with immediate effect.

They also demanded a stop to the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration, stating that it was not conducted in line with the recently concluded delineation in Warri and its environs.
