The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) yesterday reached an agreement with Dangote’s 65,000-barrel-per-day refinery to immediately commence the direct sale of Premium Motor Spirit from its members.

The development was announced by IPMAN National President Abubakar Maigandi on Monday.

Thereafter, in an interview with the National Secretary of IPMAN on Monday, James Tor disclosed that the direct sales of PMS to marketers will definitely crash the price of fuel in the country following the agreement reached.

Tor explained that with the pump price of petrol sold at N1,150 per liter, independent marketers at retail outlets can now sell far below the price in the coming days and boost the availability of the products nationwide.
