Post created on 1:24 pm

There’s been an outbreak of sporadic protests over the lingering naira scarcity within Warri and Effurun metropolis, by Sedeco roundabout, Enehren junction, and on Udu road, near the bridge.

Eyewitness reports say security agents arrived Enehren junction shooting sporadically into the air to quell the civil unrest from escalating into a total break-down of law and order.

In Oruwhorun community, reports say the ATM machines of an access bank were set on fire.

There have also been unverified reports of aggrieved Nigerians protesting at the UBA bank near estate round about.

Law enforcement agencies are being advised to take action to maintain law and order.
