PDP: Udu leaders endorse Iyasere

Following the decision of four of the six Chairmanship aspirants to throw their weight behind the aspiration of Hon. Justice Iyasere, the incumbent Vice Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, the Udu Elders and Leaders have resolved to endorse his candidature, urging Governor Okowa and the State leadership of the party to listen to the position of the leaders.

In a letter addressed to the Governor of Delta State shortly after the meeting of the College of PDP Elders and Leaders the party leaders frowned at undue interference in the politics of Udu from outside, adding that for Udu to make progress, the peoples  opinion, position and decision must be respected by the party leadership they therefore appealed to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to respect their position of the elders so as to give them a sense of belonging instead of imposing a candidate.
