Ozoro Queen saves baby from Mad woman

Her Royal Majesty, Ogbogbo Ofejiro Elo, the Queen of Ozoro Kingdom in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State has come to the rescue of a baby boy delivered by a mentally deranged woman.

Speaking with Crown FM Correspondent from the Palace in Ozoro, Queen Ofejiro said she received an emergency call about a baby delivered on a dump site and had to assist by carting the mother and child to the General Hospital Ozoro for medical attention.

Queen Ofejiro Elo, who is the founder and President of Achievers Mission Foundation, an NGO to help less privileged widows and adolescents, gave thanks to the Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, Deacon Christian Itehire for his prompt intervention as well.

Queen Elo also used the opportunity to call on Deltans to be their brother’s keepers.

Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government area of Delta State, Deacon Christian Iteire has said that the people of Isoko North should expect more from his administration and called for residents of the local government to be part of the developmental drive going on in the council.

The Chairman made the call when he paid a visit to the mentally-retarded woman and her baby rescued by the Ozoro Kingdom’s First Lady.

He donated cash gifts, paid the medical bills, and promised to take responsibility for mother and child.

Basking in the joy of the moment, he named the baby boy” Ogagaoghene Desmond”.
