Overland Airways commence daily Lagos-Warri, Abuja-Warri flights

Overland Airways, on Tuesday, commenced daily commercial flight operations to Osubi Airport in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

Both Abuja-Warri and Lagos-Warri flights touched down at Osubi Airport amidst cheers from management of the airline and passengers.

Executive Director of Overland Airways, Mrs. Aduke Atiba, who led other top management staff of the airline to officially receive the aircrafts, described the development as historic.

Delta (Osubi Airport) becomes the first state in South-South, Nigeria, where Overland Airways has commenced flight services.

Addressing journalists moments after receiving the first sets of flights to Warri, Mrs. Atiba said the airline is in Warri to provide safest and most cost-effective services to the people of the state.

She stated that the airline has distinguished her name in Nigeria and Africa aviation industry, Overland Airways is poised to deliver the best flight experience to the travelling public on the routes.

Atiba noted that Overland Airways is providing cost-effective flights as low as N25,000 while maintaining high safety standards to customers.

“Today, November 15, 2021, Overland Airways launches daily flights from Warri to Lagos and Warri to Abuja to meet the growing demand for quick and reliable air travel in towns and communities served by the Osubi Airport.

“The presence of Overland Airways at Osubi Airport now offers businesses, leisure travellers, traders, students and other travellers in the public and private sectors of the economy the unique choice to connect Lagos, the economic hub of West Africa, and Abuja, Nigeria’s fast-rising capital city, to conduct their businesses or visit friends, families and loved ones. This is a significant day for us at Overland Airways”, she said.

Mrs. Atiba further stated in the airline renewed determination to maintain its leading role in the aviation industry, Overland Airways has acquired three new Embraer E175s to improve on her services to Nigeria and Africa customers.

She added that Overland Airways has remained consistent in her excellence services to all her routes including Lagos-Akure, Abuja-Akure, Lagos-Ilorin-Abuja, Bauch-Abuja-Lagos and Abuja-Lagos where the airline currently operates.

“I am also delighted to inform you that Overland Airways has been flying consistently for almost 20 years and we have a success story of interconnection and building communities and economies in Nigeria. Overland Airways has also been the first airline to fly to several airports in Nigeria to open up these economies to foster socio-economic development.
