Our Ladies High school alumni commend Delta state government over schools

The Our Ladies High school Old girls association has commended the Delta government for recognizing the need to return the school to the Catholic Church, as well as other schools back to the missionary.

Speaking during a press briefing to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the institution in Effurun, the school administrator, Goreiti Doghudge, said returning the school back to the mission has greatly helped in repositioning the education sector, as well as give a boost to the girl child Education in Delta state and Nigeria at large.

On their part, Presidents of the Effurun, Asaba and Lagos branches of the Our Ladies Old girls Alumni, while describing the school as a sound training ground for the girl Child, posited that there is need for collaboration from individuals in the public and private sector as well as government to further empower the girl Child.
