Opposition Parties, PDP And LP Hold Press Briefing In Abuja

Due to the Electoral Act of 2022 not being adhered to during the collation of the 2023 presidential election, the Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party chairmen stated that Prof. Yakubu Mahmood should resign his position as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The parties during a live press conference also demanded that the presidential election be conducted afresh.

The press briefing was held in Abuja after the parties walked out of the national collation centre.
