The Delta State All Progressives Congress elders, leaders and stakeholders yesterday passed a vote of implicit confidence on President Bola Tinubu, immediate past deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, and Omeni Sobotie.

The group also condemned in strong words rumours that Omo-Agege didn’t work for the success of Tinubu during the general elections.

Noting that the immediate past deputy Senate President has had a long-standing relationship with President Tibubu since the time of the Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) when Ovie Omo-Agege is the party’s Gubernatorial Candidate.

Speaking further, Chief Dr. Ominimini Obieuvwewi asserted those moving from office to office in Abuja maligning the name of Ovie Omo-Agege who worked against the party in the State have no results to show President Bola Tinubu.

Making it known that the former Delta Central Senator and Governorship candidate of the party has 2 Senators, 1 House of Representatives member and 7 State House of Assembly members to show that he worked for Bola Tinubu and the party in Delta State.

The former commissioner in the board of DESOPADEC opened that the false allegations being peddled and perpetrated by some mischievous persons that Omo-Agege worked against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have no basis at all as they are lies from the pit of hell and are hereby strongly condemned in clear terms.

The communique of the stakeholders meeting was read by Chief Dr. Ominimini  Obiuwevwi and signed by Leaders, Chief Godwin Ogbetuo, Chairman; Chief Morrison Olori, Chief Prof. S.W. Ibodje, Chief Tuesday Onoge, Chief Francis Efeduma, Chief Ominimini Obiuwevbi amongst others.
