NMA urges FG to form new covid-19 policies

The Nigerian Medical Association has called on the Federal Government to come up with new policies that will help to reduce the spread of the virus as the nation grapples with the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Professor Uja, the Chairman of the association in an interview on Monday in Abuja also said the idea of social distancing in Nigeria has failed maintaining that a new approach is urgently needed.

On the issue of vaccine, he maintained that the drugs must be properly tested before being administered on Nigerians.
