NCC Orders MTN To Reactive All SIMs Blocked

An order has been given by the Nigeria Communications Commission to MTN Nigeria to immediately unblock and reactivate all SIMs blocked on Sunday by the network provider.

The statement was given on Monday by NCC through the Director of Media and Public Affairs, Ruben Muoka

On Sunday users of MTN across Nigeria became angry after their Sims were blocked from making or receiving calls due to NIN-SIM linkage policy.

Following the development, MTN offices were flooded on Monday with people struggling to get their lines working again.
