NBC fines AIT,Arise and Channels TVs over #ENDSARS coverage

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has fined Arise Television, Channels Television and African Independent Television N3m each over their “unprofessional coverage” of the EndSARS protests and the crisis that followed it.

The acting Director of NBC General Prof Armstrong Idachaba announced that sanction at a press conference in Abuja on Monday.

The NBC had earlier warned broadcasters in a statement issued on the 20th of October.
