Naira Marley In Police Custody Over Mohbad’s Death

The Lagos State Command of the Nigerian Police disclosed on Tuesday night that Afrobeat singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been arrested for interrogation over the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known on the Force X handle.

He wrote: “Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.

Earlier on Tuesday, Naira Marley had tweeted that he had landed in Lagos to help assist the police in the investigation of the late singer.
