Mother Forces 15-year-old Into Prostitution In Udu LGA

A Senior Secondary School Student with Triumphant School in Udu LGA, Emmanuel Monday, has accused her mother of forcing her into prostitution after contracting several men to have sexual relationships with her.

The young 15-year-old ran away from a recent encounter at Beeland Hotel in Orhuworun Road, Udu LGA when the mother took her to see a Hausa man (Aboki) with some of her belongings and promised to come back but didn’t until the evening when she escaped after the man went to take his bathe.

The SS2 student accused the mother of forcing her into prostitution just because of money and her hatred of the act, following her escape from the hotel, she slept in a friend’s house and refused to go home.

When the mother Mrs Eunice Asulie,was contacted, she said her daughter had been missing and had reported it to the police.

However, a different statement from the Proprietress of Triumphant School, Mrs Magareth Oghuvwu, collaborated with what Emmanuel said as she sneaked into school on Monday with tears narrating her last Sunday ordeal when she ran away from a hotel where the mother took her to meet a man and didn’t sleep at home.

The school management further revealed that the case had been reported to Ovwian police and human rights advocates seeking justice for Emmanuel.
