Miyetti Allah Leader Alleged to Sponsor Bandits in Kwara

Alleged sponsors of bandit groups kidnapping and causing harm to residents in Kwara State have been arrested by the state police, including the leader of Miyetti Allah, Idris Abubakar.

The men, who are in their 60s, are leaders of the Kwara State chapter of Miyetti Allah, and the leader has confessed to aiding multiple kidnappings in the state.

The arrested sponsors are under investigation for fueling violence and terror in the state.
