Abducted Kankara schoolboys arrive Katsina

Students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara abducted last Friday and released on Thursday night have arrived Katsina State, according to The Punch.

The students escorted into the state capital by security operatives with some still in their school uniforms, were led to an expansive hall in the Government House where they were received by Governor Aminu Masari.

Governor Aminu Masari had on Thursday night confirmed the release of the abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara. According to him, the release of the boys was facilitated by the leadership of MACABAN/Miyetti Allah. Speaking in an interview with DWTV Hausa, on Thursday, said no ransom was paid before the boys were released.
