Man Stabs Sugar Mummy Over N100,000 Disagreement

A young man identified as Akpoveta School has been arrested and paraded by the Delta State Police for stabbing his sugar mummy, Glory Akpaku to death over a financial misunderstanding.

Narrating what transpired, Akpoveta said they were in a relationship when Akpaku told him to save money with her which he obliged.

The young man added, that he had saved the sum of N100,000 with his sugar mummy and requested the money but she refused that she wanted to use the money in the market.

Akpoveta pressed that if Akpaku did not give him the money, he would tell the woman’s son about their love affair, she threatened that if the suspect tried such he would not see the money again.

According to a video shared by Bright Edafe, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, on X, it was during interrogation that the suspect, while escorting the victim to the market, pulled a knife and stabbed her in the neck, hand and stomach.

Attributing the incident to the devil’s handiwork, Akpoveta pleads for forgiveness while he awaits being sent to court after an investigation.
