Liberian Ex-President Deletes Congratulatory Tweet To Nigeria President-Elect Bola Tinubu

Former president of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has deleted a tweet in which she congratulated Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The former president had taken to her Twitter page to congratulate the APC presidential candidate on emerging the president.

She also extended her congratulations to the Nigerian people for exercising their democratic right in deciding their next ruler.

However, for some unknown reasons, the former president deleted the tweet she earlier made.

The tweet before it was deleted reads: “Congratulations to @officialABAT on his victory in #Nigeria, and to the Nigerian people for exercising their democratic right to vote. I encourage the new President to champion #WomenLeaders in his government and to ensure that the rights of women & girls remain a priority.”
