Lagos Ibadan railway open for Christmas travels

The Federal government has today flagged off commercial operations on the Lagos-Ibadan railway.

This was revealed in a tweet by the Presidency (@NGRPresident) on Monday. The Inaugural commercial service departed Ibadan for Lagos in the Morning.

The commercial service flag-off is eight months after the groundbreaking ceremony attended by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. The presidency also revealed that President Buhari in the first quarter of 2021 commission the railway line.
