Just In: ASP To Die By Hanging For Killing Lagos-Based Lawyer

Suspended Assistant Superintendent of Police, Drambi Vandi, who killed Lagos-based lawyer, Mrs. Omobolanle Raheem, a Lagos state-based lawyer has been sentenced to death by hanging.

The Lagos High Court sentenced Vandi on Monday after Justice Ibironke Harrison found the ASP guilty of killing Raheem on December 25, 2022.

Harrison held that the prosecution was able to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt.

Raheem was shot at a close range when returning from Christmas service with her family.
