Delta State Political Analyst and PDP Chieftain, Chief Pius Ovwidje says the onus of settling the disputes ravaging the party like never before in Delta State lies with the Governor and Vice Presidential candidate of the party, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as his election comes first before the Governorship and State assemblies.

Chief Ovwidje made this assertion in an interview with CrownFM in Amuokpe, Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State.

He said there was no way the party could be prepared to win elections with a divided House both at the National and State.

Speaking further on the consequences of the party’s in-fighting, the former Commissioner representing the Urhobos in DESOPADEC said “in the first place the leadership of the party would have called all aggrieved parties after the primaries but allowing the matter to go to court even with the Supreme Court to decide, the party must pay dearly for the mistakes of not unifying all, especially the Governor of the State.”
