Expectations concerning the new minimum wage approval are high as Organized Labour believes July ending would put an end to all the back-and-forth negotiations.

President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Festus Osifo, had revealed that the tripartite negotiation committee which comprises the organized Labour and government are making efforts to see the bill passed into law by the National Assembly from the table of President Bola Tinubu.

It was during a courtesy visit in Abuja by the Kogi State Special Adviser on Labour Matter, Onuh Edoka, that the TUC president stated that by the end of July, the cries of workers would reduce.

Usifo also used the medium to urge all states to start putting plans in place to suit the new minimum wage because when it is passed the union will move from state to state to see full compliance.
