IGCC Asaba Set to Celebrate Governor Oborevwori’s Birthday

‎To mark the 62nd birthday of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on June 19th, plans are ongoing for the maiden edition of the Governor’s Cup Invitational Golf Tournament at the Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC), Asaba.

‎The club captain, Chief Patrick Ukah, revealed that 300 participants, including golf professionals who will compete for a 3 million naira prize, young players, and other high-profile personalities from across Nigeria, will be present at the week-long tournament.

‎Ukah, who also serves as the Director General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, made this statement on Monday in Asaba, emphasizing that the tournament is not just an ordinary one but a remarkable event for the Governor’s birthday.
‎
‎With various activities lined up, Ukah added that the Governor’s Cup follows closely after the recently concluded IGCC Captain’s Day Tournament and, most importantly, the celebration of Governor Oborevwori’s two years in office.
