A movie titled “Crossroads”, has been released by the National Democratic Institute, featuring Speaker of the House or Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Singer Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia and Nollywood actress, Ini Edo.

The short documentary film is a fascinating story that talks about female Nigeria lawmakers on their political journey and how their tenure contributed to meeting the socio economic needs of the nation.

In a statement by the National Democratic Institute communication officer, Daniel Ukpai, who also doubled as the movie director “Crossroads is a fascinating narrative of stories that are hardly ever told especially in this part of the world.

“In the film, these female lawmakers spoke about benefits to be derived from increasing the percentage of women in Nigeria’s parliament and why the reward is greater than the cost”

The statement also revealed Gbajabiamila’s reaffirmation in commitment to giving Nigerian women more seats at the National Assembly.

The film was published on the official YouTube page of Kimpact TV.
