Gunmen Kill Four In Supermarket Near Abuja

Four persons have been killed by gunmen during a robbery attack at a supermarket in Karu LGA of Nasarawa State.

The incident happened on Tuesday at the boundary near Abuja and was confirmed by the spokesperson of Nasarawa State Police Command, Ramhan Nansel, on Wednesday.

According to the command a distress call was received on Tuesday at 8:45 pm that four gunmen attacked Wisdom supermarket at One Man Village.

While the operation was on, gunshots were fired at customers which led to the death of four persons.

The spokesperson confirmed that the CP of the state, Umar Nadada, deployed operatives to the scene and the four dead bodies were taken to the Mararraba Medical Centre.

The police commissioner has also directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department in Lafia to move to the scene of the incident and carry out a comprehensive investigation.
