At a meeting with some Christian group on Thursday, Secretary of the Federation, George Akume, lamented how he cannot pay N100,000 to his four drivers monthly.

The SGF revealed this when asking for the support of the group concerning the new minimum wage and its current negotiations between the Federal Government and Organized Labour.

According to Akume N100,000 will cost him a lot cause the drivers are four with other dependents.

He, however, said other alternatives are been looked into by the Federal government like an affordable housing system, as lands have been collected across the states to create housing facilities for the people.

Nigerians await the minimum wage template submitted on Thursday to President Tinubu by Wale Edun, Finance Minister.
