‎The news of Buhari’s death was made known by his former presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, and family members, who stated that he died today at a clinic in London.

‎Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s Head of State from 1983 to 1985 and later as a democratically elected president from 2015 to 2023, was a central figure in Nigerian politics for over four decades.
