Flood: Drainages coming soon to Warri and environs

The Warri Uvwie and Environs Development Agency,WUEDA, has wrapped up plans to commence the construction of drainages to tackle the flooding experienced at Maka street, Azubuike street and Omimi link road, along Refinery road Effurun.
Director General of the development Agency, Ovuzorie Marculy who disclosed this during an inspection exercise on Wednesday assured residents that the project will take care of the flooding problems in the long term.

Meanwhile, the construction of the drainage system to address the flooding situation around the Ogunu flyover axis of the NPA express way will be completed in the next one month.
The contractor handling the project, LEVANT Construction Company, disclosed this on Wednesday, when the DG of the Warri, Uvwie and Environs development agency, Ovuzerie Marculy paid the site a visit.
The contractor said some of the major stumbling blocks to the project have been addressed.
