Father Kills Daughter For Ritual In Delta State

One man identified as Stanley Ovemureye residing in Uvwiama, New layout area of Agbarho in Ughelli North LGA Area, is on the run after killing his 6-year-old daughter, Abigail Ovemureye for a ritual.

A search has begun by the Delta State Police Command to apprehend the suspect who is on the run after smashing his daughter’s head on 15 June 2024.

According to DSP Bright Edafe, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, the sad incident was reported by the suspect’s younger brother.

Edafe said the body of little Abigail has been recovered and deposited in the morgue with signs showing her head smashed on the wall several times.

Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi is urging the public with any useful information about Stanley to report to the closest police station.
