Europa League Final: Nigerians solidly behind Samuel Chukwueze

Nigerians have in the last 24 hours put their weight behind winger, Samuel Chukwueze, to win the Europa League final slated Wednesday.

On Twitter, most Manchester United and Premier League supporters of Nigerian descent have unanimously voted for a Villarreal win on the account of Chukwueze.

The match between Villarreal FC and United will be held in Poland at the Stadion Miejski in Gdansk by 20:00 WAT or 8:00 PM local time.

It is trending on the micro blogging site as ‘Chukwueze, Villarreal and #UEL.’

With the final coming up in a few hours, Nigerians are hoping that Chukwueze, who has been phenomenal for the Spanish side in the 2020-2021 season, will win.

The winger has scored five goals and provided six assists for the club in 39 matches across all competitions in the 2020-21 season.
