Post created on 11:32 am

A video making rounds on social media shows where some residents in the Ogurute Ulo community in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State handed over a newly built general hospital to a deity for security.

The community laments the rate at which hoodlums steal equipment such as TV sets, an ambulance, and solar panels, among other things from the hospital that was supposed to be for the good of the community.

A man speaking in the Igbo language on behalf of the community with others around, appealed to the deity for protection as they were frustrated by the continuous stealing done by unknown persons.

The man said the whole community had agreed to hand over the General Hospital to the deities and any man or woman who said he or she is not happy about the hospital and has a hand in the missing items, let the deities take care of them.
