Electric Vehicles To He Deployed To Northern Region

The North East Development Commission, NEDC, has been given approval by the administration of President Bola Tinubu to roll out electric power vehicles in the Northern region in order to ease transportation challenges.

The commission is also working on putting in a 5KVA or 10KVA solar grid, which will help in supplying gas in the region as electric vehicles and tricycles are rolled out.

The information was disclosed by General Paul Tarfa, Chairman of the Commission, after a meeting with VP Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.
