EFCC Withdraws Arrest Warrant Against Ezee Concept

Following the silent uproar between gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and music manager Ezekiel ThankGod Onyedikachukwu (Ezee Concept), the arrest warrant has been withdrawn by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The withdrawal came on Friday after a bench warrant was issued to the music producer by Justice Alexander Owoeye, following the petition filed by the EFCC.

Standing before Justice Alexander Owoeye, EFCC’s lawyer Bilikisu Buhari requested a withdrawal.

After several attempts made by the EFCC to arrest Onyedikachukwu for failure to remit royalties and the misappropriation of $345,000 of Chinwo’s share, the Federal High Court in Lagos withdrew the warrant.

It is recalled that Onyedikachukwu and Chinwo are currently at loggerheads over fraud allegations and the diversion of funds.
