EFCC To Probe NCAA DG, Others Suspended

The Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt. Musa Nuhu was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday.

According to Ajuri Ngelale, Presidential spokesperson on media,  Nuhu was suspended to enable the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to investigate him and other senior officials.

Immediately Nuhu was suspended, Chris Najomo was made the DG in an acting capacity.

Ngelale also said President Tinubu has directed Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development to recruit a substantive vice-chancellor and other principal officers of the African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU).

The hand of suspension was extended to Kabir Mohammed,  the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

Also, Tayib Odunowo, the MD of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), was sacked.
