Post created on 3:24 pm

Delta State Government has stepped up its push for international investment, with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori presenting the state’s economic strengths during a high-level engagement with the European Union.
Represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, the governor outlined opportunities in oil and gas, solid minerals, agriculture, marine economy, and healthcare.
He noted that the state’s more than 160 kilometres of coastline and vast network of waterways position it for growth in marine development, logistics, and coastal infrastructure.
The governor further assured potential investors of a stable and conducive business environment, while drawing attention to prospects in healthcare and environmental management.
He added that the engagement underscored Delta State’s willingness to collaborate with global partners on infrastructure and youth development programmes, in line with the MORE Agenda aimed at sustainable economic growth.
