The Delta State Judicial panel of inquiry on police brutality and extra-judicial killings has warned the police legal counsel to desist from employing delay tactics in the proceedings.

The panel during it’s second day of sitting in Warri said law enforcement officers that have been accused must appear before it, warning that it has the powers to order for the arrest of the officers it they failed to appear.

Meanwhile a petitioner Chief Oboru on Tuesday narrated how an officer attached to the Ozoro police division shot and killed his nephew who was about leaving a Protest scene at Ozoro in the month of August.
