Deputy governor of Delta State, Kingsley Otuaro presenting staff of office to HRM Okumagba II of Okere Kingdom
Delta state Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa yesterday presented the staff of office to the Orosuen of Okere Urhobo kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Okumagba, Okumagba II.
The Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro representing the State governor at the ceremony held at the Orosuen’s palace in Warri, said while the government does not meddle with the selection of traditional rulers it will not tolerate illegal traditional stools in any part of the State.

He urged the people of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom to rally round their new monarch in order to ease the task of discharging his duties.
On his part, the Warri South Local Government chairman, Michael Tidi described the king, Emmanuel Okumagba as accommodating and expressed his belief that his reign will further bring development to the kingdom.
