Delta Pageantry 2022: Joy Ashionye Crowned Queen

25 years old Joy Ashionye Ugboh the young lady representing Kwale at the Delta Queen pageantry has emerged as the 5th Deltan Queen after beating 33 others as the finalists.

She is to officially represent Nigeria at the 2023 Miss United Continent Pageant in Ecuador.

The crown queen hails from Ulogwe-Isumpe in Ndowka West Local government Area of Delta state, she is a certified science laboratory technologist from Delta state polytechnic Ozoro and a teacher in training from Delta State University, Abraka.

Others crowned winners at the event are The 2022 Deltan Queen Ambassador; Otobo Henrietta,  Dafetta Obruche,  and Odinde Nathalie.

While speaking after the pageantry event, the CEO, Miss Iviero Jane Okiemute, said the pageant is endorsed by the Delta State Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

“The Delta Queen pageant is a prestigious pageant event that celebrates the girl-child in the state and crowns the most worthy female icon as its queen.

“As an organisation with a clear objective and passion to celebrate emerging leaders, we are hopeful that the new winners will make a positive impact in the society”.
